Design
The phone looks great as far as the aesthetics are concerned. It’s all-screen at the front, and there are no notches thanks to its pop-up selfie camera. The curved body makes the phone look sleek and stylish, and its buffed aluminum frame smoothly melds into the rear and front glass panels of the device. The red accents on the back camera surround and the power button pop nicely.
The bottom edge of the Mi 9T Pro hosts a USB-C port, a mono speaker, and a SIM tray. The top edge hosts the pop-up camera and the headphone jack. The volume rocker and the power button are placed ergonomically on its right.
Display
The 9T Pro features a glorious 6.39” display panel with a 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution. The screen uses Super AMOLED technology and gives you a premium experience with more than 400ppi pixel density. The viewing angles look great and so does the max-brightness. It also supports HDR technology and offers an immersive gaming experience.
Cameras
The Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro is equipped with a triple camera rear setup that features a 48MP (f/1.75) main shooter, an 8MP (f/2.4) telephoto camera, and a 13MP (f/2.4) ultrawide angle lens. The default setting for the primary sensor is set to shoot 12mp pictures, and you have to enable the 48MP mode manually.
In a well-lit scene, it captures very good-quality photos. The images have a lot of detail, and the colors pop nicely. It also does a decent job in low-light scenes. The only thing you might complain about is the Xiaomi watermark at the bottom-right of your photos. However, you can turn off the watermark from the settings. You can also record 4K videos at 60fps with your Mi 9T Pro’s camera.
The selfie camera is a 20mp (f/2.0) shooter that also comes equipped with auto HDR and can better handle backlit scenes compared to most mid-range devices. There are a lot of modes and tweaks you can try, and it gives decent-quality photos.
Performance
The handset is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset that is supported by 6GB of RAM. It’s a powerful device that offers seamless performance, both in general use and when playing video games.
Battery Life
The Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro is powered by a 4000mAh battery, and it gives great performance. You can expect it to last through the day, and you’ll still have some juice left when you go to bed. It also extends support for up to 27W fast charging.
If you are looking for a mid-range device that is a step ahead of the competition on every front, the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro would be a perfect pick. It offers great capabilities for a fraction of the cost. Want to make it even more affordable? Grab a bargain at Bulk Mobiles UK.
