Samsung Galaxy A10e Review – A Slick and Smart Handset That May Not Ace On Performance

If you have always loved the sleek and stylish looks, you’d love Samsung Galaxy A10e too. It’s a handsome device with a small footprint and looks good in your hand. But is that enough? Won’t you like a handset that offers robust performance at the same time? Yes, performance is one key area where this phone lags behind. Let’s explore more in detail about this sleek beauty in our Samsung Galaxy A10e review.

Design

As far as the design is concerned, the A10e is an attractive device with a simple design. It is small, comfortable, and lightweight. The front camera is accommodated into a teardrop notch, and you can find a chunky bezel at the bottom.

The rear of the phone is made using glossy blue polycarbonate material. Towards the upper left, you can spot the only rear camera lens, accompanied by Samsung and carrier branding. There’s nothing at the top edge, but you can find a headphone jack, a speaker, and a USB-C port at the bottom.

The left side of the device is equipped with a hybrid sim/microSD slot, and the power buttons and the volume rocker go to the right.

Display

The Samsung Galaxy A10e comes with a 5.8” LCD display that boasts 1560x720 resolution and a 296ppi pixel density. Overall, the screen looks bright with vivid colors on offer. It is just perfect for casual use and for watching videos.

Cameras

It’s a mid-range device that features only one 8MP camera at its rear. On the front, you get a 5MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture. When the lighting is good, you can expect reasonable performance from the rear cam. Many images may lack fine details, but it’s not too significant to affect the quality overall. When the light is not good, however, you get poor photos.

Similarly, the selfie cam also performs well enough when the light is good. You can expect some crisp shots with adequate depth of field and color accuracy. While you get color and beauty filters with the front camera, it lacks the portrait mode.

Performance

The phone comes equipped with Samsung’s Exynos 7884B processor chip rather than a Qualcomm Snapdragon. However, the performance is pretty much on-par with the Snapdragon 632 chips.

You might experience a slight pause when launching apps or switching between them. Generally, however, the performance is very much acceptable for such an affordable handset.

Battery

The battery life is one area where this phone shines. It comes packed with a 3000mAh battery, and you can expect excellent battery life. Given the fact that it uses a low-power processor, you can expect to use half of the battery power at most in a full day of regular use.

If you are low on budget, Samsung Galaxy A10e would be a good deal to grab. Remember, however, that you might have to compromise on performance to grab that low price tag. Search through our catalog, and you’ll find the best deals here at Bulk Mobiles UK.
